Hey guys just checking in, I finished hanging my last stand and cutting shooting lanes this past weekend and also checked my cams for the final time. Below are pics of my target buck bedding 20 yards from one of my stands. Now all that is left to do is practice shooting and wash the clothes.
I was thinking of a few names and the best I could come up with is """ Team Red Mist""" but any name you guys choose is fine by me. Pike

Gun season is such a crap shoot its hard to say how any team will do. I want to shoot a nice buck and contribute to the team but at the same time i hope to take my "hitlist" candidate with my bow. I think we will do fine!! Any of you guys in the bow contest as well? Im on the alternate list waiting to be placed on a team. Guess they have alot of mia's to fill.

Looks like the most replies have been for "Team Area Codes", So lets just go with that.

Next issue is that we need a team Captain, anyone want to volunteer? I don't mind doing it and have done it in the past, but I know once season starts I am going to be busy with clients. Not that I won't be checking in as often as I can. So, someone pick one, and I'm good with it.

If you don't want Team Area Codes for the team name let me know and I will change it.

If you want me to be the captain, it would be my honor to do so. Just might not be checking in on a daily basis. I never know if I am going to be sent off to another camp in another state. But I do always have the laptop when I travel.

J Pike, Looking forward to see pics of that bad boy on the ground.

rh160kid, yes I am also on the alternates list in the bow contest. Rob should be back tomorrow to deal with it and get everyone placed.

deerdust, you got the job, haha.

Southernbuck...the deer may not be big, but it looks like some really good mass on a fwe of them. I prefer mass to length anyways, I guess im kinda backwards from most people. I would rather have a super thick 6 than a spindly 8 or 10.
