Hey guys. Just checking in. I hope everyone has had a Merry and safe Christmas. I'm like a few others on the team. I've been so busy with work that I have not had much time to hunt. Happy Holidays and good luck to all.

Got out yesterday afternoon, saw a real nice 8 but could not get him to come close.
(I love hunting when there is snow on the ground)

I did end up arrowing another doe.

i'm checking in guys. the past few weeks have been so busy. working at a church during the holidays sure doesn't equal much of a holiday. done a lot of good for the community but haven't seen the side of a tree in forever. maybe the man upstairs will see fit to turn a set of horns loose in my direction.

our rut starts in a little over a month and gun season ends about the same time... which puts me in the woods ready to go after all the boys have hung up their boots for the winter. don't count me out yet. i'll be out on new years day and keep you posted.

happy new year everyone.

I'm jealous Surge!!!! Wish we were going for another month... season ends Thursday here. Don't mind though, weather has been frigid cold w/ high winds... not fun or productive to hunt in w/ any weapon type. I guess I'm done until spring turkey in April!
Surge, the big man upstairs will reward you for doing what's right! He always does!
Happy New Year to all of you.... have a safe one...

Very Nice Solo!
I have not been in the woods since the day after Christmas but will be next weekend.
The MD bow season wraps up the end of January.
