Checking in!! Are we all ready for another fun filled season? I know I am:) good luck team!

I am super excited! Half of us have checked in...the other half would be helpful! So...any ideas for a name other than "team 23"?

FF/EMT what part of MN you hunting? Im hunting Red Wing area, I got a decent buck on cam hopefully I can add that to our pts this year. :-)

I kinda like the ring of "The Total Rackage"...it should be a finalist for the name. Now we just need a couple more real good ones to vote between. Backstrap Brigade ain't half bad either.

As for team names how abt- the crimson trail. It really doesnt matter to me but figured I'd at least throw something in the hat.

The Crimson Trail is catchy...real catchy. Doesn't hurt that I'm a Bama fan! Strutstopper, you want to beam us up?

Its up to you guys. Unfortunately I probably spend more time on the computer than in the woods though. I was gonna nominate Christine but you beat me to it and it seems she'd rather not. Anyway, we're only missing one person so lets vote on a name. Seems Backstrap Brigade, Total Rackage, and Crimson Trail are the 3 finalists. What do you all say?

Not sure if your familiar with Forestville State Park South of Wykoff? I hunt just to the west of there.

My vote is for Total Rackage... Kind of catchy and I think Ristrutstopper would make a great TC

I would say either Crimson Trail or The Total Rackage...and I would vote strut as TC.

Does not matter to me one way or another. I am good with anything.

Well I finally have a minute or two here at work to post so here is a little about me. Married 22 years, 3 daughters and 1 granddaughter. Hunted most of my life. I currently have a lease in the Texas Hill Country. Not the biggest deer in the world but there plentiful. This will be my 4 year in the contest. The first year the team that I was on won the contest. We did not repeat but I think finished in the top 5 or so. Last year my new team did not win but last I checked we were 4th or so. Not sure exactly where he finished. I have been lucky to kill a deer for all of the contest. Here are a few TC pics of possible targets from one of the protein feeders.

The 9 point on the left is an old, old deer way past his prime. I have some of his old antlers.




This is also an old, old deer. A buddy of mine has hunted him hard the last 3 years. He is really starting to go down hill.





I would take either of these older deer.




I do not have a good pic of this deer but think he might also work.

A few I will be chasing. Have not been running my cams faithfully like I have in past years so my pics are a little skinny.

Those are some really nice deer, John! A little about myself; I am 25 years old and have been hunting since I was 7. Got my start with squirrels and dove. Dad never went deer hunting, so I didn't get started with that until I could drive and go on my own. Although I have been deer hunting for several years, this will be my first year to bowhunt. I am really excited about it! This will also be my wife's (married for a little over 2 years) first year to bowhunt, but I already told her that I get to shoot the biggest one, because we need to win this contest! I grew up in the Florence, AL area (northwest corner of the state) and now reside in Lawrence County, TN where I am a youth minister. I have been here for three years. Most of my hunting is done locally, in either Lawrence or Giles County, TN. I will hunt a few times in Alabama on family land, and hopefully a time or two in Obion County near the KY border.

I have a great family, great friends and try my best to serve the Lord. Looking forward to getting to know you all better.

Wow Ray and John, you guys have some great looking deer there. For the most part I'll be hunting Nanny central. I can usually count the number of bucks I see during the season on one hand, and sometimes have fingers to spare. Anyway, it looks like Total Rackage is going to be our name, its kinda catchy. I can try and come up with a team avatar, but my graphics skills are not exactly world class. If anyone else wants to give it a shot, have at it!
