Hunted a great spot last night, man I had it all..low temps perfect wind, etc really thought I was gonna catch one of my big boys feeding before dark.. didnt happen, had a doe come by and I had a lone deer come in right at dark had to wait on it for 1/2 hour in the stand to feed through the top of the old clearcut before it walked away far enough for me to cow call my way out of the area, got some nice help from a distant bull bugling at me to keep the deer around me calm.. back at it again tonight!

Keep it up shed! Sounds like you're getting some good time in the stand. My season starts tomorrow and the forecast looks good! Hopefully have some stories by the end of the weekend.

Good luck to everyone who's season opens tomorrow. I have sent Jjones a PM to try to notify him his deer has not been counted/entered yet because he needs to submit individual length and circumference measurements for each antler. If anyone on the team sees his status as "online" please try to let him know as well. I'll be out on the eastcoast the rest of the week/weekend. Hopefully, I'll have some good stories to read when I get back. Shoot straight!
