Ben, I agree MGH_PA is a great guy and not a bad shot either. Wasn't he the one that hit the 10 spot in the diamond plate steel target, while the rest of us donated arrows to the cause.

Lucky duck, I guess you are our first this fall. Who's next? I got another month. I was just up at the cabin today, playing on an excavator. Dug a couple water holes. Putting some oats in at my best spot tomorrow.

My Nebraska season starts Sept. 15th I believe. So I will probably chase some mulies out there the first weekend. Then Iowa season starts Oct. 1st. The mornings and evenings are starting to be soo much cooler. I'm really excited for this season. I have a plan to +1 myself every season. It's going to be hard to do, but I hope to keep adding a few more inches before I shoot one every year. I will post a pic of my last year's kill at some point.

My 2008 Archery kill . He placed 2nd in the Archery typical division at the Nebraska Big Buck Classic. He grossed 164 and some change.
And that is our cat that was able to jump on top of the mount on her own. She found out what the squirt bottle is for after this episode. Now she just sits below the mount and stares up at it!
