i may or may not go teal hunting in the morning. it probably wont matter because of the way i have been shooting lately the first few dove hunts i was having a hard time missing (67% the first 3 hunts) it has been down hill from there. on teal i think that i am shooting around 3 or4% it is not good. i dont think i am even hitting air when i shoot.

We went out saturday morning as we were walking out about 100 -130 teal flew over that was about 10 minutes before shooting time. then we had another flock come into the decoys my brother shot a greenwing and i of course miss an easy right to left crossing teal. then a dove flew over and my brother shot it. then we find out where that big flock of teal came from earlier a group of guys had decided to set up on the roost and scared them off. i wish we had an early goose season, last week we were teal hunting and 7 big canadas flew with in 30 yards before they realized they were in trouble it was nice to see them and atleast here them calling. i cannot wait for the regular season and some cold weather to get here.

We desperatly need some talk on this forum. the season is with in a month here in kansas for my unit anyway. today when i was out on the mower i saw a flock of migrating cormorants that was nice to see even though i hate those stupid fish eaters. i just looked up my season and everything opens 30 days from tomarrow i cant wait.
