I looked at the pictures on the picture thread and that is wierd. we shot one a few days into season last year that kind of looked like that older one but it atleas had the white starting to go up his neck very wierd to say the least. good luck on the geese next week. hopefully we get a good push of whitefronts in with this cold front coming in the middle of the week. we may actully have something to hunt on opening day for a change.

Our waterfowl season opens saturday and it is looking good for ducks. have a pond that had about 100 teal and a few big ducks on it. when i drove by the all got up and went across the road and dropped right in to another pond we can hunt both ponds to so we should get some.

I am going after teal tomarrow. maybe some geese sunday there is a field that has some big canadas on it and they havent been hunted since febuary. seen quite a few whitefronts migrating only one flock that looked like it was going to stick around but they were never seen again. hopefully we can pound on some teal in the morning. good luck to all.

good luck with those teal, they are my favorite ducks right there. Yeah, i hunt where the destination for all my flyways geese are, so were overloaded with them already.

Well this morning was not as good as i had hoped. we got two greenwings i hit a gadwall and we also got a duck that sailed into a milo field and i had know idea what it was it was with a hen pintail. i bet we saw a thousand ducks but the weather was perfect for running or something like that. it was 33 degrees out and no wind untill we were about ready to go. tomarrow we should have more wind and we are going to bring a mojo or two so hopefully we can draw in some of the ducks that we saw. we also had whitefronts migrating over us all morning that was nice to see. we could have pulled them in if we had goose decoys out.
