I've only tried this once before with a bow, no luck. But this year I am going full bore with the bow on my new property. I already got his picture. Go ahead and check in and I'll edit my post to show it.

Hey guys, checking in.

I have drawn for May 14-18 and I may also get a tag for May 21-24.

Im still looking to take a bird with my bow.

Tried for 4 days strait last year, had birds within range just not what I was looking for. Finally shot a tom the last day.

Im excited to be on a team with such great people. Good luck guys!

Just watched the news.

There now sayin we have onthe ground12 1/2 and we should get over 16" by tomorrow mornin'.

OK we almost have all of us checked in. We just need Gri22ly to stop by and say hey.

I just mailed off for my IL, non-res landowners tag and a regular non-res tag too. I should have 2 tags for IL this season. That is where I am going for the bow bird.

Not sure if I will hunt in MO this year or not. But if I do it will be gun only there. The birds where I hunt are just too few and far between on the National Forest ground.

Just got back from pig hunting Nuge's place in Michigan.

Great time, 7 guys, 7 pigs.

Our guides Paul and Big Jim (some of you might remember him from the T.V show Wanted Ted or Alive) where second to none.

Great place, I highly recommend it.

OK Guys, I am getting antsy. I got these pics off my trail cam And the turkeys have my woods all tore up. I was out there yesterday and there is a couple of inches of snow on the groung. I crest a hill and the whole hilside is brown. I think, what the he77? Then I see the turkeys have been scratching for acorns and have the whole area tore up.

Thats awesome news,I scouted this weekend also, no pics but I did see A LOT of birds. I'll be bringin the camera out next time I'm walkin' around, lets just say bloodcreek's double beard pic aint got nothin on the boy i saw this weekend. I'm real excited.

And hey lrhuntr, congrats on the pig, looks like a good time. Is that a hoyt or reflex?
