Hey guys, checking in here, Should be a good weekend, cool temps here, freezing every night pretty much. Still hunting bucks right next to their bedding areas. The big boys move very little here this time of year and have all the feed they need in the mountains right were they lay up. I will be hunting right next to good bedding thickets. My elk season opens back up Sat too! so any bull eats an arrow this weekend.

Crab! good job on the second doe! Congrats man!

Hey everyone, the time is almost here. My brother had a small buck chasing a doe and fawn in front of him last night. My cousin had two fighting in front of him this morning, but it was still dark so he has no idea how big they were. I seen a doe and fawn last night and a 4 pointer this morning. I have yet to see anything big yet. I have to work tomorrow, monday and tuesday, then I will be off until the 26th of november. I can't wait. Good luck everyone!

Just wondering if you guys are seeing any rut activity yet? I had 9 does and fawns in my back yard last night. I saw a young six chasin them around and curling up is upper lip!

Hey guys, checking in to see how things are going. Good here, killed a bull elk last night.. (rifle kill...sorry mulie, family and meat for the freezertakes priority for me, so no bow elk kill for the contest) anyway, I am so happy today knowingthe winters meat is in! Its time for me to soley focus on whitetails. 5 tags to fill in next couple months, I will be bowhunting predominately from here on out.. Deer here are just starting to move more during daylight hours..good things to come. Best of luck teammates... drill a good one!

I'm still plugging away here as well. Haven't had a good opportunity at a giant yet, so I'm still holding out. The rut is going to start getting fired up in the next week or so here, so things are going to happen soon I'm hoping. I have the next 16 days booked with pheasant hunters, so my deer hunting is going to be very limited these next days....

Shed - Way to go on the elk! Post up a pic if you can!
