Hey guys I'll post the whole story tomorrow or monday when I get time.. I'll also post a few more pics before I take him to the taxidermist. I'm not sure on score yet, I'm thinking around 150". But thats just a guess. I also have him on my trail cam last year in october, and we hadn't seen him since. You'll be surpised when I tell you how I got him. But I'll make ya wait for that.

Nothing like somesuspense. I was thinking around 150 too. Thats an awesome start for 2008!!!! He will put us in the top 10 in points probably, and the rest is up to us. Congrats once again mj! You did your part for team 25!!!

Went out this morning for a bit guys. I stayed away frommy stand from last night, and ended up hunting one of my permanents. It was windy and cold so i got down a little early and did some scouting. Found a few rubs and some decent scrapes. No deer though. I did pick out a new stand location though.

54deer on24 hunts, 18 does, 18 fawns,7 bucks and11 unknown.

Hey guys, I just got him posted on the official score card. He surprised the hell out of me and grossed 167 1/8. I have way too much homework to tell you the whole story, but I'll get it up as soon as I get time. I only have 6 pics of him before my taxidermist had to take him from me. But I'll post them with the story later. The good news is my taxidermist said he wanted to put him in a magazine to show some of the potential Nebraska has. We may not have **** for a football team, but we still got some bucks. lol.

Can someone do me a favor... They have blocked out photobucket here at work, so I am unable to see Mitch's deer. Can somebody save the pics the their desktop and post them in a post. I am anxious to see the pics! Congrats on the deer!

Went out last night and only saw turkeys, no sign up Freak Daddy. Brett ill try to get Mitch's pics up before i go to work.

I got out Sunday morning (barely)! I went to bed around 2:45 that morning and was up at 5:30! I saw 3 does and a small fawn. Rut must be getting close, because the fawn was out on its own constantly doing a contact call. Momma must have run her off! The 3 does never came into my shooting lanes. My dad's buddy was at my parents house working on a trailer, and when he was leaving, he said he saw my big 12 pointer that I am chasing about 1/4mile down the road. I'm happy to hear that he is alive! I haven't seen him or got him on camera yet this year. I'm getting pretty excited for the next couple of weeks to come!

Siman- just watched your video dude. That thing is a monster to say the least. Pretty good footage of him too. What was the closest he ever came in? One of clips looked like 40 yards maybe but there were branches in the way. Good luck with him man!
