Been out a couple times and and heading out again next week after the 4 day antlerless hunt is over. Been enjoying everything I have seen so far. Had the pleasant surprise of seeing another buck that was this [:-]big too. 2 dandy potential bucks so I am amped and ready to score one of these 2 guys. I will keep everyone up to date!

I'm still here. All I'm seeing are doe. That's a good thing because I have to take one before I have a chance at a buck. Now if only they would come a little closer to my stand.[:@]

Well I am set now. I have 1 EAB sticker so I'm all ready to roll. I could have bagged a smaller 8pt last week and a little 6 pt. I have seen deer everytime I have been out so thats always a bonus. I'm waiting to see how it goes with these 2 other bucks I saw. Definitely starting to see an increase in rubs and scrapes just this weekend. Gonna be in the 20's the next 2 mornings so that may get the bucks moving finally but it still looks like the rut activity wont be picking up in earnest till at least the 6th of Nov. Who knows though....

I got word tonight that my grandpa saw Hercules when they were harvesting the corn around my blind. Hopefully he decides to take up residence in the switch grass in front of my blind or the willows to the side of it.

Shot a buck tonight. It is smaller than I wanted but needed to be taken out. I tried to put the horns back together for an inside measurement and get about 14.5 I will score the rest tomorrow. I am beat and going to bed. They are starting to move!!!!

Ok, the best I can do for score is 80 6/8. That is using a 14.5 inside spread. That is using my best deer skull piecing back together skills.lol Put that one in the books Captn. Thanks.
