Well the trip up north didn't produce. I did see a couple real nice bucks but didn't get any shots my brother shot a doe on Thurs. and we got to meet TeeJay which was pretty cool. Fun trip in all even though it rained the whole frickin time.

I guess my buddy shot a real nice one today with the rifle sorry no pic.

Well Saturday was not a good day on stand. The morning produced nothing until I was in the house and just about to leave for Geocaching and that little 4pt I videoed a few weeks back was standing in the back yard. Went out at 2pm and nothing. zilch, nada, except for another bowhunter who showed up at 4:25pm. About 4:15 I smell cigarette smoke and am thinking, what the hell? Keep in mind i'm only 60 yards from the road and the wind is blowing from that direction. 10 minutes laters, I see mister bowhunter, climber on his back walking up the access road. He stood in one of my lanes at 35 yds. Looked around like he couldn't decide which way to go and then proceeded right into the bedding area that I expected them to come out of. I'm hoping Tomorrow's all day hunt proves to be much better.

As for the Geocaching, yeah it was cool. They set it up for the girlscouts and it was a little easier as they had clues for them as well. But definitely it could be addicting. I borrowed the neighbor's GPS and he had a few other cache's from the park on there that I wanted to try to find but my daughter and her friends wanted to get some lunch. I opted for the early lunch so I could get in my stand and watch the leaves fall and other hunters bust thru my spot. Awesome.

Cigarette guy.....permission? We caught our first tresspasser on our new property Saturday evening. My brother in law read him the riot act and ******ed him off the property. His excuse kills me and I listed them in order as explained to me......1. I have been hunting here four years and no one has said anything. 2. My sister in law lives right around the corner. 3. I know the farmer (mind you no permission given). Last but not least.....I see guys parking on the other property hunting and no body says anthing to them! The thing with those guys is THEY HAVE PERMISSION because we know them personally. TRESPASSERS and POACHERS need an a** whoping~
