Who is gonna be the one to make up my lacking 20 points?? An even 100 would have ben real nice, but I aint complaining!!:)

The more I think about the "bullet hole" in his ear, do you think its posible that could have been a tag? I have never seen a tagged deer, but that would kinda make sense????

It could be any number of things, a tag is just as likely as a bullet hole. Could also a be a bad bug bite that got infected.

Ok, so tell me where to go, OAKS or CORN?

Seth what broadheads do you use? Did you hit the off shoulder? Thanks Seth for getting my fever going even higher now, I'll be SO jacked up once Oct. gets here, Ican't even put it into words.

Man I can't wait for the 1st to get here, I am calling in sick if the weather is decent. I just washed my new Hunter Safety System thing, got my new arrows all fletched and sighted in. All I need to do is wash all my cloths and I will start that on my week off starting Wed. (I get a week off every month;)) And this year in Nov. it happens to fall on Nov. 8-14, I already told my wife to forget I even exist for that week, cause I am not going to be here:D

Dennis~~ I use Slick Trick Mags 100 grn! Beman ICS 29'' 400 with wrap, blazers and tracer nocks.

I forget the exact weight but its something like 400-410grns....65lb Martin Jaguar!
I didnt hit nothing but one single entry rib.
My Theory: I shot and it was quartering to just a bit but when the arrow went in the arrow actually drove back further through the deer then "the actual angle was" if this makes any sense to ya?? I found this when skinning the deer out, so thats why I dont think I gotta clean pass through??!!

I caught one lung, but believe if arrow would have followed projected path it would have easily been double lung even at the slight quartering to angle!!!!

Sorry to confuse ya if I did!!

Ohhhh and I envy the fact that you get a week a month off!!!!!

I think I'm going for the oaks, a N-NE wind is terrible for my corn set ups...

We shall see! I'm nervous about picking a location, but I've said since early aug. Im going for oaks. Time to stick to the plan!

I've never scored in September, so it just might not be my density!
