ORIGINAL: solocamcan  Heres my deer from Nov. 17th, got him back already. I still have not scored him, wish I would have shot him first instead of the one I entered...oh well, I guess my year has been a success, 2 decent bucks and 2 Doe's. I think I am done for the year unless we get some snow, would love to hunt in the snow a time or two. Just wanted to thank ALL of you guys for being such great team players and hunters, I am thrilled to have finished no less than 3rd place in this years contest.It was great talking back and forth to you guys, we really got along well, proof is our 118+ pages. Hopefully Seth (WesternMD) can make the trip to Illinois to hunt with me sometime. Wish all of you future success and try not to be strangers. Later, Dennis |

Hey all! I just wanted to say thanks fora great season! This was the most fun I've had in this contest in 5 years. And a 2nd place finish is pretty awesome! Unfortunately we can't keep our team together, hopefully a few of us end up on the same team next year.
I've got 2 more weeks in our season, but I've been focusing on waterfowl since christmas, I might slip out one evening this weekend just to see whats out there. Gotta get my camera back up too, and start plannin for next seaon. Hope everyone enjoys the off season! |

Good luck and thanks for being the team captin! I enjoyed it a lot! This was my first year entering this contest and it wont be the last cause how fun it was!
