I will try shooting again when I get home from work....if I still have issues, I am swapping the yellow for a red or green pin...

Dude... We are eating them right now and they taste awfull! LOL J/K They taste so good dude! The only bummer is, is that you have to get about 10 of em for a meal!

I got a grey squirrel cause the season just opened Sep. 1stso I cooked him up to and he taste REALLY good! and he had a good pelt on him to!

Man we are getting pounded with rainfrom the hurricane Ike left overs....supposed to get 3-5 inches of rain today.[:'(] I hope my creek bottom doesn't wash away my climbing stick, or spill over and take my ground blind.

Good luck!!!!

I'll be out there tomorrow afternoon... supposed to be a high of 72 for my area... hopefully it wont be as humid as today! Its nasty out right now!

Anyway, went to cabelas on saturday, picked up a new climber... The Lonewolf Alpha, sit/climb. Also got the "wolf pack" to carry it in w/. The pack is great has a ton of pockets for gear, I think thats all I'll need to carry until it gets cold, I'm hoping it straps around the tree nicely...

The best part was I paid like $10 for the whole setup. I had so many points and if you spent more than $400 you got a $100 gift card (if you're a cabelas card member)... So I got the 100 gift card, and used that to buy the wolf pack, and had enough points to buy the stand out right!:D I did have to buy the wife two shirts though... but thats ok.

My Sat. morning was not very eventful did not see one thing. My brother hit a doe but lost her in the rain he hit her a little far back he thought. I didn't get home from the wedding til 3:30am on Sunday morning so yesterday I didn't end up going out just a little too tired. I'm going to try and get out tonight though.

Monday morning opener in N.H.
Temp. was 73 degrees@ 4:30 A.M. On stand at 5:45; dripping wet
from sweating on the way in, even with slow walk in. Wind blowing
20 -25 m.p.h. No deer sighted at all; same for two friends also. Forecast
for the rest of the week is high 40's at night. Will be back out on Fri. and
the weekend.
