rybo...park ranger;) federal park ranger:D but, i got more career paths than i can shake a stick at...all LE...going to start out as a seasonl park ranger next season...but after that i dont know...im not far from either of those places actually...across the river from shippingsport...maybe 15-20 mins away from both roughly...

bluetick(matt) dad and i used to run walker dogs till i was 11 and we got out...hard to find land to run dogs here, we moved and lost our yard, dad started working more and more...now i run with my buddy...he hunts grnitech walker male...his girlfriends son has a walker female...actually planning to head to a nite hunt with the boy and his pup tomorrow nite! id love another hound...

i just spent the summer on cape cod!! back home to PA now...SW PA actually...head to college this weekend:(


time to go cool off in the pool and go groundhog hunting for the evening....bow shooting good...Sig shot good today....lets see if the 22-250 feels like shootin good this evening!

Actually 3 former champs on this team. I was a member of the first champion team...the Elite 8, though I sheepishly admit to not having contributed that season[&o].

MGH PA, I gave up and didn't plant this year. It's a natural funnel, that's why I put my food plot there anyway. I'm sure there are still clovers there tho probably in rough shape.

I'm also going to do a little more hunting around my house this year. Some dandys were running last year, saw that one this year and know of a droptine buck I haven't seen here not to mention the piebald doe.

I hung a stand here at the house tonight.

Hey guys,

So i will be hunting in wisconsin this year...... I am now 2 months out of 2 open heart surgeries and am doing great. I love to hunt with my bow....but this year i am stuck with a cross bow....at least the first month! I am working out daily to get the docs ok to use my regular bow. I am just not a fan of the crossbows. But hey, I am alive and hunting!!!!!

Cant wait to see how the season goes. It opens up Sept 13 or so for me!

Hmmm..... the first contest was ran by Mauser and he just happened to be on the "stacked" team, which just so happened to be the most amazinly super awsome team of any contest ever..... ILNYPAKY-EH is still alive :D And now Rob is on the most stacked team while he just happens to be running the contest.... and the kicker is that these two are together.... hmmmm :D:D:D:D:D

Sounds good. How many acres do you have there? I would imagine you would have a good setup there. I'm not even sure how productive this plot will be. Last year we had an amazing crop of brassicas and turnips, and they didn't touch it until December.

BM, i never RAN the bowhunting contest?? i was captain of Team 36 "bros b4 does" my first year, 3 seasons ago...started and ran a turkey contest on HPA last year...i remember that name though...cant remember where it came from maybe a turkey team here??...been around too long cant recall!:D LOVE the sig line!! lol LOVE IT!!! nice smallie BTW!! (did i tell you my FIRST ever 2 striped bass were caught on our super secret trout lure?? just about 3x larger :D)



i went 4 for 5 on chucks tonite! 300, 200, 250 and 20yd shots...i was proud of myself...today was a good day for shootin...though, i think shooting might be my "gift" seems i can pick up most anything and shoot it OK even on my bad days...heard the BIGGUN was spotted on my hill AGAIN...definently where he calls home....now if the idiots dont spook him with the spotlights i might be in good shape...aughta be in good shape anyways...guys are gunna be in ALL the surrounding woodlots...hopefully he walks by the first morning and i can let the air outta him! i wish i didnt HAVE to hunt him the first day, but if i dont, other morons will...i gotta be there JUST to police the place!

Well Holy Crap.... I could have swore you were the one that ran the original contest.... I wonder who I am thinking of..... any of you old timers remember?

As far as the strippers, that is awsome man, awsome! I have never really tried striper fishing, but the lake I fish for largemouths has some in it. My buddy caught a 26"er a while back and I remember that thing gave him a run for his money.

Doublelung55 started the first contest in 04 but I ended up running it when he asked me to handle it because of the tools I had. ;)

You're partly correct, Germ. I am left handed at pretty much everything including shooting a gun. But as with most lefties I tend to be a bit ambidextrous. When I when I purchased my first compound bow 13 years ago they didnt have any left handed bows in stock at the shop.Being the impatient teenager I was,I bought a righty and havent looked back. I've always wondered which hand Ishot my old recurve with when I was a kid.

Here is a pic of two bucks we got on the property. The land is new, and about 100 acres. They are hanging out in a clover field and the camera i put out is right off of the ponds on the field. Looks like a good spot to me. There is a huge trail with the deer moving from the pond to field in the am and the field to pond in the pm. Best part is the spot i have picked out has a perfect wind for all of this!!

No name ideas from me yet.....

Speaking of left handed, I was shooting my buddy's bow last night (lefty). It wasn't nearly as bad as I expected. Other than a little awkard feeling looking thru my left eye, I was solid and shooting very well. I've practiced shooting guns left handed just in case I needed it, which I have. THe lefty bow thing was pretty neat.

Germ I should have shot yours at the GTG:(

Always a good practice to be prepared. I always take a couple shots left and handed when i shoot sporting clays before dove season and a few while sighting in my rifle.

its my tradition i keep my avatar until the next years team avatar is made. mainly because this site is finiky to me when it comes to changing avatars and making it look decint size wise.......i'll see what i can do.....

well guys i was hanging a stand on one of my spots and low and behold i decided to sit it and seen 3does and a 6pnter in 1hr so good sign hope to get a crack at one opening moringing to get the meat out of the way then hunt for some racks ;)
