Thats a good idea. Then there wont be any suprises come opening morning. I usually try to shoot my bow in what I will be wearing during the season as far as gloves, jacket, hat. Im going to stay away from my stand from now till the 22nd except for going and changing the camera location. See I put the camera and a corn pile in front of my stand. Well in TN you cant hunt over a bait. It must be gone from the site 10 days prior to hunting. And the corn is gone and I wont refill it. It was just to see what was coming through there and see if I could get an idea of the bucks this year.

Seventeen days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I really cant believe its almost hear. Turkey hunting and bear hunting make the time between archery season go lots faster.

Howler--Just got the video late last night. Much appreciated. I am going to watch it tonight. You may have to give me a heads up on what the best calls you would suggest out of the insert in the DVD.

7 days for me!!!

Next Friday I head to the woods to hang my stand. Then go to bed early, wake up early and hopefully something will walk out on me so I can try out my BowTech!

Whitetail hunter---That is also what is awesome. This is the first time in about seven years I will be using a new bow so it makes it even better.

The weather right now is perfect but you know the first week the temps will be hotter than hell as always.

Howler--Just finished watching the video. You guys did an awesome job. It was very informative for me. I like the use of different weapons. I do have a .223 but I think I would be better off using a shotgun for our type of terrain. What do you think of the Syco Tweety? Sounds like a popular call among you guys. Thanks again.

I think I am going to get up early in the morning and go and video one of my food plots. I'll post thevideo if I get any action. I will not be sitting anywhere near my climbing stand which is already in place just to see if any deer are using it in the morning. Plus Im going to explode if I dont get in the woods somehow. Man its going to be hot...ya'll stay cool.

You huntn tomorrow??????????????

Check the pic its a picture one of the bucks I was talking about hes actually a seven point 2" tine on his right side is hidden. I think this is a young deer. 2 1/2 yrs. I dont think hes any older what do ya'll think. I mean I know he wont go 100" but thats what I'm after though. Hes one of the bigger deer on the property. Lots of younger bucks are going to be coming of age next year. And the year after. Check and tell me what ya think.

I sent ya a PM Derek. glad ya liked the vid. and hope it helps get ya started calling preds.

Good luck Jeramy. Ya lucky dog. I've got a few weeks more to wait.

That does look like a young buck Steve. Hope ya get a chanceto put your tag on him, ora bigger one that you haven't seen yet! That's one thing that happens to my buddy in KS. each year. He gets a pic. of a buck that had never seen in the past, and seems like when rifle season kicks in, his family members see other bucks that he never got any pics. of.
