I was out a few times. Once I got turned around on the way to one of my remote stands and never found it - extremely frustrating. Other wise I didn't even see a deer. They are just not moving and the area is very dry - most of my stands are upland and void of deer right now. I had one deer blow while I was in a ground blind with my son - it was one of those very quiet/still nights. Could have been scent, sound, or the blind itself. Everything will have to right to get two of us 15 yards from a deer. Also possible it spooked from something else, it was a good distance away. I'm heading south next weekend - better numbers and more moisture.

No I think FRALEY is like a stray dog once you feed it it never will leave. And I am afraid we fed him way too much already. [8D]

Good luck when you head south deertale, hopefully the numbers will be there for ya. Turned hot again here in Iowa just hopes it cools down for October 1st. Been quite a few youth hunters knocking down good ones around here this week so the boys are here we just need October to get here now.

Well fellas I think we need to send out a search party because it seems to me we have lost a few of our team members like

bwhunter501
AlabamaSlama
Kshafer
BuellMan
spudrow which you have checked in from time to time but not for a while

If anybody has seen these NIMRODS please contact us or at least tell them to call home we are worried about them[8D][][&o].
