Hey there gents, Just a quick line to let you all know I will be checking in every so often but right now I am a little busy. My father had another heart attack tuesday so I am a busy running up to the hospital and back everyday.

Seems he will be ok if he would just stop being so stubborn and follow the doctors advice. On the issue of team captains I am good with whatever you guys decide. Will talk with you all later and think safety guys, we do not want any problems this year.

Dave
Hay man, sorry to hear about your dad! I hope he will be ok.

I finally saw a buck I'd like to thwack tonight. The deer were out like crazy this evening. this is just one big field, 28-32 deer, some were coming in and out. 9-10 bucks, 2 real nice ones, 1 for sure shooter, and the other probably just short of shooter, but a real pretty buck none the less. I only saw the big one for a few moments, not real heavy mass, but TALL tines and long forward sweeping main beams. A solid 130" buck.

Hey guys, sorry it took so long to check in. I'm 35 and will be hunting in southern Illinois, (perry and Jackson co. mainly). Only had a couple of min to say hi so I will check back with you all later.
Jester, I hope your father is doing better. Dean.

SouthernMD Archer, my prayers are going out for a quick and healthy recovery for your father.

Well fellas, i was all excited yesterday cause i was picking up my trail camera that i had over a mineral lick. I couldnt wait to post the pics and brag about the bucks, but unfortunately the deer have seemed to stop using the mineral lick. There was only two pics of a decent 8 pointer. Its going back out tomorrow on a wellused trail that i have had some good pics of bucks last year, so hopefully next time.

So which one fellas thwack attack or fall phantoms? I think thwack attack is pretty good.

I'll PM the remaining unchecked in guys and if I don't hear from them by monday evening, I'll ask Rob for alternates.

wis_bow_huntr checking in!
Lets gitr done!!!!
Looking pretty good on my properties this year, weve been seeing some nice 130-160 class bucks this year, i guess taking only one buck all year last year may have paid off this year. We have people driving by the properties hoping to catch glimpses of them. sure is nioce to see some wall hangers running around.
