Tim - good luck to you and Tyler on putting the smack down on one of those big ND bucks. Don't be afraid to break out the lucky blue jeans if you have to.
I can't find my lucky bluejeans. I think the wife threw them away!! [:@] Must be why my season has sucked so far!! [:'(] It can't be me !! []
Hey if you want to give someone chit. Go into Team 2's thread and ask dagger buck 2 (Tyler )how his hunt/scouting went when he forgot his release Sunday night. He had thebigger buckunder 15 yards and could only watch. Now you know how our season is going!!

Well gents,
I've began my hunting season in Wisc. on some public grounds. Have to take a doe first to earn my buck pass.
My native Illinois season begins the first.. whooaaa!!

Hey guy's back from CO with only 1 kill (see pic below) We saw a bunch of elk, nice one's. I missed a shot at 57 yards damn Rage broadheads. One of the blades must have been loose because the arow took off and it sounded like a fan flying through the air. It was a 6x5 with about a 40" spread. I called him in with the cow call 3 differant times before I could get the shot.

130 - that's a fine looking rodent you've got there. Maybe if you stretched the hide out, you could make yourself a nice pair of fur underwear or something. That must've been a hell of a shot. I can't even hit a full-size deer, and you're out shooting chipmunks... [>:]
Duke - earn a buck, eh? Never had to do that. Most of the states around here just let you start buck hunting right off the bat. Good luck Chief.
We start in 8 days. I don't have any fingernails left. I've shot my bow so much that I think I'm starting to stretch the string again. Just wish deer season would hurry up and get here.

Scouting report: Well made it to the tree stand on Friday and took the wife for her first hunt. After about an hour and half she got her first shot at a doe. She shot a bit high and missed. Saturday Morning I saw a small 6 point and a doe and 2 fawns. Saturday night I saw a nice 7 pointer and he bedded right under me. (cool) Sunday morning I saw 3 does and almost let the air out of one, she needed to take 2 more steps.
