Too bad PA. waits so long to start that 2nd season.Thats alot of good bow hunting time missed.
Yeah. I hear that.
I wouuld really LOVE to see PA extend bow season and cut rifle in half.
I'm not sure if that will ever happen , but I am pretty sure we'll have Sunday hunting for '08. This will be the second year the PGC board will be voting on it and the majority of hunters are for it.
That will give me more time for sure.

Ill take a pic. made out of crayon, as long as the bow is drawn in it too!!!!!!
Went out on state land yesterday for the firsttime in maybe 15 yrs. It is muzzel loader season here, This guy pulls up next to me jumps out and says I hunt in way back, pointing over my shoulder, I told him that Iwould be close to the parking lot because I would not be out long. He comes over and asks me where the cap went and weather he should pull off the plastic on the bullett......I nowremember why Iam grateful for havingprivate property to hunt.

I wonder if he could even fire a shot. Boy , that sounds like a fairly dangerous individual.
You should have told him to use half a pellet and the plastic was only for looks, then he would not have wounded a deer or hurt himself.

Well guys we have about 15 or so days left of season here. Sat a couple days this week and last weekend. You will probably hate me for this but I have been passing up some nice deer including one that is a nice 5 * 5 with two kickers. He would probably go 135 gross, but he is young and we are trying to do some managing in this area. Has helped so far, got one that was 166 during gun season and the landowner shot a 142 4*4 that was going down hill. So I am holding out for a big mature deer. So don't hate me for not filling out. lol

It's your season, hunt how ever you want.I've ate tag soup a couple of times holding out for a certain buck.Sometimes things work out, sometimes they don't.One thing is for sure they don't grow any bigger if you shoot them when they areyoung.
