It works for me.
These two plots are kill plots.Plot 1 is about 40 yards long and 20 yards wide.It is a perenial plot, ithas 3 types of clover and chicory.Plot 2 is an annual plot,it has new zealand winter peas, rape, white top turnips ,clover and rye.It is approximately 20 yrds wide and 30yrds long.I can make them larger but you could risk shot oppertunities.I'll see how things go this year. The 2nd plot is inside of an older much larger plot. They sit on the edge of an 80 acre clearcut that is about 5 years old.I was going to plant a larger plot in wheat rye and oats.We will see how they work out.

Got it.

OB75,
I'm not sure what kind of an area the Secret Spot covers, but I have a stand overlooking a spring seep on a hillside that I think will work well. I'll have good water if it gets dry and it's open for some sun.
last year I got pinned in my tree at this stand by 22 does and lagging behind were 3 bucks. The biggest was about a 130 class 10pt. I could't shoot because it was after legal shooting time by 20 min.
The worst part was they walked behind me to get the acorns covering the hillside. If I had a plot in front of me , they may have gone to it first. As it was I had no shot because it was too dark in the canopy behind me.
All I could see was the outline of that rack walking away.

How did last year go for the rest of you guys. Let's get some idea of our potential.

Well last year, there were at least5 bucks on my property. A 10 point, 4 point, half-rack spike, 6 point, another REAL nice, wide, high buck that was at least an 8. The I believe both the 10 and the 8 were shot, but theres still a few bucks runnin around out there that should be bigger this year. Im not completely sure, but im pretty sure that there arnt any giants on the property this year. Im hoping to be able to add some points to the board, but Im not counting on a monster this year.

I posted this on the trail cam forum a while ago. This deer could possibly be a buck, but its hard to tell because of the foggy picture.

Take a look.

Heres a pic after I did a little "editing". Still hard to see though. Does anyone have and fancy computer program that could clear up the picture?

BTW, ignore the dates, I forgot to set them before I set out the camera.
