hey guys, I am out of here... headed to the woods again this evening.. didnt see a thing last night.. kind of surprised me a bit, but we did get a bit of a warming... bout the same conditions tonight...clear out and sunny..should cool off this evening around dark...

I have .5 day at work tomorrow for grades is all.then I get to hunt a long afternoon.. all weekend.. etc..

I see you're up to no good again this year...taking all the big critters out of the field and leaving none for the general public. Tis hunting season, so I figure I was due to swing by and check up on yah. Congrats on yet another monster deer. My hunting season started off early this year when I returned to Alaska in late August. I drew a sheep tag for a trophy management area called the Delta Controlled Use. Spent a little less than a week in the field and came home with a dandy ram. I'm an official member of the 40" club, this guy measured 40 3/4" on the long side and scored 163 and change. I'm real happy with him. Hoping I can sneak out for deer season this year. Hope the remainder of your season is enjoyable.

Man do I love it when you pop in every BLUE MOON and show me a picture like that. Words can not do that photo justice bud. That is one of the most beautiful animals and photos I have ever seen. Man bud, a huge congrats on that kill. You are the MAN! I miss you bud, email me..you're like a ghost I never hear from you but 1 or 2 times a year. [email protected]

thanks Jim, I finally ran an old buck down that i'd been chasing.. Dee and I put a little meat in the freezer too. I am back to working on my second whitetail tag. Please PM or email mebe bud and catch me up to speed on where the airforce has taken you.. Back in AK??? I would assume? I miss hunting together.. hopefully one day we can again!

Absolutely beautiful animal, i need to hunt them one day. Did you get him with bow or rifle. I agree with troy, they are one of the most beautiful animals out there. Great work.
