Hey guys I am back and caught up with your hunting stories.

Ijust want to thank you all as teammates for the support you have sent to my family. I have spoken to a few of you in PM's, but I just wanted to say how much it is appreciated.Ibelieve Rachel was spared a lot of the pain and suffering many cancer patients go thru with this disease. And I believe a big part of that was all of the prayers sent her way from this forum.

When the end came it was very peaceful for her. We were sitting together on the couch at home, it is where she wanted to spend her final days, and she just took one final deep breath and her ordeal was over and a great weight was lifted from all of us.

She will be buried tomorrow morning and we will start a new chapter in our lives as a family. If things work out right I may take the whole month of November off and take careof her business and get in a good bit of hunting too and just unwind from the last year. I have always wanted to take a month off and just hunt. This might be my chance to do that.I will be able to get a lot of NATURE THERAPY in during that time.

Thanks again guys, you have made a difference in our lives.

It was nice getting to visit with you last night...hope I didnt keep you up to long! Good luck this month, I hope that your time in the woods brings a nice break from all that you have been through.. God Bless you and your daughter. May the funeral be a rejoicing of Rachels life.

Guys I hunted last night...saw 1 coyote thats it.. not much moving.. checked on of my trail camera areas and my batteries chit out on me.. the area was pounded with elk sign... bout it..

I am hunting today.. good luck to anyone else hunting..

Guys, I just got home from the funeral home, and wanted to say WOW on a wonderful flower arrangement. That was an awesome gesture. John hadn't seen it as yet, but I saw it on my way out. Very, very nice arrangement.

Beautiful fall colors, nice big flowers.....Wonderful. Just wanted to give ya'll an idea of it's appearance.

Yes, I did see the flowers you guys sent. It was a real nice jesture from you guys. And a beautiful falldisplay of flowers.Thanks a lot.

But I did have to explain the Team Chaos thing to a few people.:D

Once I got over the initial emotions it was a nice evening to celebrate Rachels life with family, friends, students, and coworkers. And her best friends daughter put together a slide show on DVD that was Rachels life history and she blew us all away with it.

Real soon I hope to be updating you on my hunts again. I am planning on getting back in the woods soon after this is all settled. To some it may seem to soon, but it is what she told me she wanted me to do. She hated being the reason I was not able to hunt as much as I wanted. The woods will be some of the best therapy I could have. AndI hope I can find a big old gnarly buck towalk in front of me.

Mr. Mass is alive and well. Say him in the swail this morning with two does. 8:00 AM, my uncle drove down the lane and spkked him the other way. It's his farm, so what can I say. He might have come to me he might not.

This weekend

8 bucks 6 were real close all 1.5
15 does.

Headed to the swail agin if the wind is right, my rut stand has 20 rubs and three scrapes around it.

OK guys I am back hunting. I am headed to IL in the morning to get one of those big boys figured out! It will be good therapy. I will be off for at least 2 weeks and hopefully more.

This should be a good week to be in the woods. I HOPE!!
