My wife had me out today hanging 2 latter stands for her. She says she going to bag the big one. I told her to leavehim to me for the contest. She just smiled.

I only wish my wife would hunt. Before we married, she told me that she fished, hunted and camped. Well after that hook'em and snook'em day, she's never and would never hunt, she's only camped once in her backyard (changed since marraige) and fishes (only if I bait the hook while holding onto my (fishing) rod and reeling in the fish on a slow day. When with my son she would bait her own hook, go fiqure).

Don't sweat it Michigan. My seasons have been open for a little while but I like to wait until at least til mid-october.

I have only made it out three times so far...each time I have seen deer and I could have shot two already but I passed due to weather conditions (rain, and hot weather). No sweat though, they were only small deer.

My season goes until the second week of december, so there is plenty of time!
