Buck Magnet

Good luck buddy, I'll be out Saturday morning with the lady trying to get her her first deer. We are goin to my honey hole and I told her to shoot whatever legal buck she wants so I will hopefully have some good pictures of her and her first trophy. I will be hunting about 60 yards from her and I am liking this set-up, this area could easily produce two nice bucks so a double wouldn't be that far fetched!

Season opens Monday for us!!!! I probably won't be able to get out till the weekend but that's ok....it's almost here!

alright guys, here's the deal. I'm pretty sure I can kill a buck tomorrow, I have him patterned and on time every morning. but, i dont think it's a monster, then again I've never killed a buck before (you guys probbaly love that part[8D])

So what do I do, shoot the smaller buck and get it done? or hold out and slam one of the big ones around here?

Well I belive you should shoot what ever makes you happy..

Just remember your season is just starting..

There maybe bigger and better oppurtunitys awaiting..

There some big boys in ohio..

lol, i'm guessing you want me to pass it. I'm not really sure how big he is. I've seen him a few times at a distance, but i'm not sure on the score. I guess I'll pass if he's smaller than 110"ish. It's kinda hard to feel like your doin your part in the team when ya got Hunsucker as capitan[8D]

Well Opening morning report!

Went out at 6:30 and sat in the flat where the buck comes. About 7:30 he came through with a doe. I passed both of them, the buck's not what I want. Nothing else for the rest of the morning.

I went to another farm and put up a ground blind in a dynomite spot with deer sign everywhere. I might take a doe tonight if nothing else. Hopefully the big boy will come out.
