Big bucks aren't required. All we need to do is all score 100" bucks and we are in. Complete group success is more important than one or two big number bucks.

I agree totally Talondale. But knowing that there is a big boy around just adds to the rush (me anyway) when the leaves start rustleing and you'rewaiting to see what steps out.
mnbowstalker, there been lots of talk about the Rages' (2 blade) here andon other sites with lots of good comments. I think a lot of folks are going to give them a try this year.
Anyone have trouble with the avetar link? It won't open for me, just keeps cycling. Maybe it's just really busy right now.

FF, yeah, my sig tells the story. I would be shooting a lot faster if I shot a smaller arrow, but I like lots of weight. My draw length gives me a huge advantage too in teh speed category. The X-Force is a decent bow, but you better be good friends with your orthopedist before you shoot it. The ones I've shot (both the 6 and the 7) had a really nasty draw cycle. They are definitely the fastest out there now for a hunting rig. The Iron Mace is faster, but that is with their speed pro arrows, which I don't like for hunting because of the light weights on them.

yeah FF you should give the Ross Cardiac A tryI shot all the other bow myself and found that it fit me better I sure liked the bowtechs also and the drenalin but feel in love with the ross. Just a sugestion shoot every bow you can get your hands own.

Well gentlemen I am the pround owner of a new Hoyt Vectrix ( or I will be when it gets in). I went and shot alot of different bows today. I shot most of the hoyt lineup, Mathews Drenaline, Bowtech allegiance and tribute(couldn't find a Guardian), and a couple of the Reflexes. It came down to the Vectrix and the Alleginace. Both are smooth and fairly quiet - I think I would have went with the Bowtech except for that every place I talked to are sold out of the bows in my draw length and didn't know if or when they would get them in before hunting season or at all, Both shops I went to hasn't had a guardian in in over 2 weeks. So with only 3 1/2 weeks before the season opens I decided to go with the Hoyt. I hate to trade up this late in the year but I guess i will be doing alot of practicing when the bow comes in in about a week.

cONGRATS ff!!! You got a great bow no doubt. Too bad you couldn't find a Guardian. Have fun shooting and get some good practice before season opens. Shouldn't be a problem, always fun to shoot a new rig!

Welcome aboard CCM, where abouts in SE Pa., anywhere near Lancaster? Congrats on the Vectrix FF/EMT, I've heard people say that they are a real joy to shoot.
Any one of you guys use the cool weather UA or similar clothing? I picked up a tee to try out and am wondering if I can just wear that with my outer camo suit or does it definately require something over it because of it's wicking properties? Seems if it's going to saturate what you put over it that in turn is going to move right on to your outer layer anyway (??).
18 days to go here and I stillfeel like I'm not ready [:@].
