Welcome CC, now everyone is here. Meeting went well last night and it looks like I have a new property to hunt. He showed me a pic of a buck his wife calls Elmer, if he doesn't go 170" he isn't an inch. Should make for an interesting season knowing he's out there! Also got my binos back from NIkon yesterday and they are fixed this time. Twas a good day yesterday!

I am so pumped for this land. It is such a lucky meeting that I got with this guy too. Weds we are going to check it out and watch some deer, hopefully I can get some decent pics of some bucks to show you guys. HE also said my wife can hunt out there too, which is sweet. She is going to be in front of the camera I think for the first couple weeks, but then she will hunt with me I'm sure. Shaping up to be a good season! I am kind of regretting booking the trip to Canada with this new property to hunt. I know Canada is going to be awesome and a long-time dream come true, but still!

Yeah, he is an older guy that has no one to hunt with and he said he doesn't trust himself as much as he used to when hunting alone. I also live pretty close so he can call me if he gets a deer by himself and needs some help getting it out.

Morning ladies! J/K Shot my Phantoms last night and was very pleased with the results. Out to 40 yards I was drilling a snuff can sized dot. Definitely a confidence-booster. Can't wait for my Wac-Em XL heads to come in and see how they fly. Going to scout tonight at the new place, hopefully I get a look at old Elmer!

Yooper your driving me nuts talking about getting to go out shooting. I can't wait til my bow gets in so I get get out there and start shooting. How are you guys doing down there with all this rain? Its getting kind of hairy up here, we've had close to 8 inches since saturday and the soil is just saturated and there is heavy rain in the forecast through Friday. Although we are pretty lucky - a half hour east of here a couple towns pretty much got demolished Friday/saturday night - they got 17 inches in about a 12 hour period. - 7 people got killed.

We've actuallly had very little, nothing even compared to what you guys are getting. I hope it stops now so the corn starts drying! One of my spots is planted in corn this year, and I dread walking across a 1/4 mileof standing corn. I had no idea it was that bad up by you.
