We have faith in you PJ... Stick with it.
It has been slow here... I have been working a ton... Shotgun season ends this Sat, then it's muzzleloader until the end of the season. I will be out ina couple of my bow only spots next week by the food sources. Very cold and more snow in the forecast. Should get good... hopefully.

Holy FREAKIN CRAP. If my luck were to get any worse I will just be dead. AFter a nice long 12 hour shift at work today, I drilled a spike buck on my way home(which by the way is an hour and half drive) in my wife's durango. Completely destroyed the grill, lights, and bumper. Also caved in the radiator. The little buck didn't survive the unfortunate meeting either. Not to mention I stood out in the snow and sleet about 45 mins waiting for a cop to come. To top it off my driver's license was in my truck, which as you know, is iin the shop getting the rear end replaced for $1000, and my wife had every insurance card from 2002 to present in her car except for the current one. I just can't believe how unlucky I've been lately. I just told a guy that I work with this afternoon, how I have never hit a deer and then 6 hours later, CRUNCH!

Didn't get out w/ the bow over the weekend, but took the shotgun for a walk w/ a couple of buddies on large tract of public land. Saw some fresh track crossing the road and took them for a long walk. I scored on a little 3 pointer and my buddy took a nice 6. They were both together in a hemlock patch.
I usually don't do this, but I had a very clear head shot. I hit him right between the eyes. Rather gorey, but it got the job done.

Got me another deer this morning.......with my truck this time. Sadly the litttle fawn didn't fare as well as my truck did. The good news is that i got sent home from work early and now I can go hunting all afternoon.

Are we going to add anymore inches guys? I'm not sure how many of you still have seasons but I truly wish the best of luck and it has nothing to do with the contest. Good luck guys.
