Sounds great springcaller, 3 120's...great and you can count on many others....ups the odds, good luck.

Ice, I don't rifle hunt anymore....it's not in me. I've archery hunted in rifle before....most rifle seasons I guide my landowner on his own land.

hmmm thats interesting. I learned hunting on rifle, it was how I grew up, not a single person in my family hunts bow, im the only one. Im glad I expanded my options while im still young, cause bow is so much more fun, plus its more challenging. I love a challenge!

CT starts Mid September. I don't think I'll get out for the opener though.. going to get "snipped" 9/14 so I don't have any more little ones! I'm getting nervous.
MA bow doesn't start to Mid October. I've got some great looking spots all set and ready to go for this year near home. Have 2 other small parcels I need to scout this Sunday. Both in great deer country. That will give me 1/2 dozen + or so "close to home" stand sites.
That is too bad about the poached buck. What is the matter w/ people?
Rob, I still use the same Bushnell Yardage Pro too.

I still rifle hunt because that is when all of us get together with relatives and we all hunt together. I usually just put some more does in the freezer then.

We don't have rifle season here in MA... I will occassionally hunt NY with the rifle. I still do shotgun & muzzleloader hunt here in MA though.

WMAH, although it's common to be nervous, I've had plenty of friends do that...just listen to the doc....I'm going to have it done as well, very soon..as soon as I'm able to with this injury I have already. Might as lay around for both reasons since I have to. We have no kids however, we don't want any at this age...so.....

I hope our Bushnell Yardage Pro's last a long time, ya know.....

Good luck everyone..it's drawing near.
