Guys I am into the gun season now, I have only seen 3 does so far. By far the worst season I have ever had. I think I am going back to my bow for the rest of the season. I think I still have 2 1/2 weeks yet. I also have 3 tags yet, things have to get better. Good Luck all.

I'm hunting but I can't score anymore for the team.[:-] I went and hung my stand for tomorrow and noticed some good sign where I shot my buck earlier this season. I had planned on taking a doe out of there if given the opportunity now I may just have to wait and see how big this buck is going through the area.

Hey guys its pretty quiet in here, whats everybody up to?? The big day finally arrived and im now a married man as of Saturday the 8th, and ready to leave for the honey moon-so I'll be busy for the next two weeks ;)Good luck to those still at it.

As For Childers
It's great to see someone is still hunting,and trying for the team, man I tip my hat to you,keep at it the deer should be in their second rut and are really easy to call in at this time. Try some tickling of the antlers and some doe grunts,the smaller bucks will be scared from the main rut and should be shying away from the scraps.I could only wish that the Alberta Government would allow for an extended season, speacially since we have so many deer here,mybe next year.

thank you. here in ga there are so many dang deer our archery season in beggining our september till end of january. i know im really lucky. its just a lot harder to get bigger deer without really close maintenance of your herd good luck to everyone. this buck is supposedaly a lot bigger than my 145 class buck from last year on the same land and spot

Sounds like a good one on that piece of property. We definitely aren't the most talkative team thats for sure. Hope everyone who can are still out trying to get a buck, we sure could use it for some scores.

haha the land is maybe a little over an acre and a half. it is in a neighborhood. but there are a lot of little ones but every year between ruts a huge one comes in to dominate

well i saw that deer about 70 yards away and he is huge!!!!!!!!!
i hunted yesterday in the rain and cold for 3 hours of rain and cold.

well i have a little over a month left. the buck ive been talking about is huge and he keeps butsing me. so i decided i needed a treestand and went and got a real nice comfort zone. i also got a new call i think ill be able to get him now.

I just ordered a Drenlin LD. I am not sure yet if I will hunt with it or not it is mostly for 3D and spots. But I will see once the season gets close next year you never know. I got it in all black just in case I do want to hunt with it.

I shot a doe this morning at 45 yards. she fell over in her tracks and i ran up and put one more arrow to the head. i'm so happy. this is my second doe this season. and fifth deer ever. i only started hunting last october and i always use the bow. but im still waiting for this buck

our season ends dec 31, but i filled my last bow tag last weekend on a doe. not too sure on bows yet, gonna shoot a few and pick which one I like best.

i am going to walmart today hopefully.
i will be purchasing a hatchet, food plot seeds, fertilizer, lime, some screws and stuff for my treestand and some other stuff.

i am putting in a food plot in some woods. i will also be cutting down some trees at chest height to make the land become even more suitable for huge bucks. i want them to fell as welcome and comfortable as possible.

Happy New Year Guys,

Today is it for me. I will be out this afternoon looking for a buck thats been seen at Bells Branch. They say he is a big one but I will be taking a doe if the shot presents its self.

Thanks to all of my Teammates for the new friendships and the good and bad stories that we have had this hunting season. It has been a pleasure getting to know all of you.

Well, I am done, guys. It was a pleasure to be on a team with yall, andI knowI didnt post to much, butI tried hard. Just my luck that yesterday I had the biggest deerI have seen in North Carolina alive 60 yards away from me,while I was messin around. I was proud to captain and would love to share a team with any of ya again.
