MN, this year's buck will be my 4th whitetail mount. I think I am addictedThe taxidermist I use also did the Beatty buck as well as mounts for Jeff Foxworthy, Stan Potts, et al and he is $460 total. The work quality is just unbeatable. I have tried other, cheaper taxidermists, and I wish I had not. Since the thing will be around hopefully for a long, long time it is worth a little extra to really enjoy it.

My mount is normally 325 but since I am a repeat customer (that sounds awesome) ill get it for 300. She does very very nice work and is cheap compared to other local ppl. i think i showed the mount of mine from last year? if not heres the links again

Saturday should be great. My shotgun is dialed in and I am taking a new friend of mine from school here deer hunting for his first time. I'm hoping for a doe to give him a shot. That is the one thing I am really looking forward to. It's really a priviledge to be able to do that.

I just got my December 06 archery kill back from the taxi. $350 semi-upright, head down, with a right turn.

Thanks Hungar.

I very seldom get anything mounted but this one cost me $400 tax, title, and license.

Well I think all of your mounts are great looking. Had I found something in that $3-$350 range that looked as good as all yours I maybe would have pulled the trigger.

You can sure tell a texas deer compared to a northern buck. John yours looks like a Whitetails coat around here would look if you got him very early. You get anything much past the first of October and they will have a shaggier more bristled appearance I think. Yours is so sleek and softer toned.
