Went to the lease last night hoping for my nephew to get his 1st hog. He shot at one but missed . We saw 4 does and 2 fawns. No bucks but it was still daylight and they were in open pasture. We stayed away from my stands so we wouldn't mess them up. Its good to know where them gals are. When the rut rolls around I'll be keeping an eye on all them does to see what else might be watching them! Sept. 30th seems soooooo far away!

Saw a lil 2x3 whitetail yesterday but I couldnt get a shot at him oh well too bad.

I have till November 10 to hunt. Goin out again tonight hopefuly i can get one.

Yea, I'll be out the 30th too. Hopefully I'll get a chance at something. My main hunt will be the week of the 27th of Oct.

One last trip to the lease for me tomorrow evening. After that I won't go again until the opener. I have to help my brother in law get a stand up and put a feeder in at this late date. Apparently he has been too busy. he is a firefighter and owns a fence company and just has a lot of irons in the fire. If it was because he was lazy I think he'd go it alone but thats not the case so I have to help out. He would. i've seen deer on my last 4 trips out there. They were all does but that is OK. I know the bucks are there. See ya'll later. BTW 2 more weeks. Its killin' me!
