Hey guys!!

My name is Dave and I am from NE Wisconsin. This will be my first year in the contest. Our season starts Sept. 16th. I hope everyone on the team gets to check in soon. It will be nice chating with you guys. Rob has asked that there be a list in the first post.

Hello team I am John from St. Louis Co., Missouri. My season starts Sept 15 and I will be out there after work. This is my first year in the contest also. I hunt in MO as well as IL. Hope we all kill monsters, good luck to all of you. Have you been seeing any good ones?

hey Mike and JMbuck. I have seen a few nice ones but nothing to write home about. I have 4 different properties and have not scouted all of them as much as I would have liked. Some real nice bucks from last year made it through I just haven't seen them this summer yet.

Is there anybody on our team that has done this before. I know you haven't Mike and Dave. I guess one of the first things we need to do is pick a name for our team. Any suggestions?

I like the areas we have covered Ohio, Wisconsin, Kansas(I presume),Indiana( I presume), and I hunt in MO & IL. All good deer country. Here is my best. Hope I can find one like that again.

We got some real good areas covered on our team. I just hope everyone checks in. That is a real nice buck. How about another one this year. Your right we do need a name and a captain. I have no idea off hand but I will work on some.

Hi guys :)

My name is Jeramy and I'm from PA. This is my 3rd season in the contest though I have to admit that I have not harvested a buck the past 2 seasons. :( Seems like everytime I saw a buck in the woods he wasn't legal. I did take a nice doe each of the past 2 years and I'm proud of that. While I love big racks like everyone else I'm honestly just happy to be out in the woods hunting. Season starts here at the end of September and it seems like time is going so slow.

Sure hope we get a few more bodies to check in. Maybe they got caught off guard, as this wasn't supposed to happen until Sept. 1. If not there will be plenty of alternates I guess. Have to work on a name.

Not last year but I did 2 or 3 yrs ago. I live in Monroe county but hunt alot in the big buck area around LaCrosse and Bangor

Like you said jmbuck with the early start we may have to wait for everyone to get checked in. Does anyone know any of the team names from last year. I would hate to duplicat. I will try and find the winning score from last year too. So far the names suggestions are

None were used last year that I could find.

Im here by bow as of now is broken, I need a new rest and ill be good to go. Kinda short on money right now cause my step-dad packed up and left last night but I should have it fixed pretty soon. But yea im here boys.

About the capitan part I personally think it should be up for grabs for the people that have been here longer. Im not saying that cause iv been here a pretty decent time I personally could care less if im captin. No offense to the newer members Id rather have someone we all can trust and also know how they act. Just my 2 cents.

Hey if you are interested I just took a rest off my bow. It isn't anthing fancy but it is still in good shape. Let me know and it is yours. I can even email you a pic if you want. What i ment about the capitan was being here before this year, and yea about that rest ill pay shipping and all. But will it fit my bow? If you need me to i can take a picture of it but yea let me know man.

It should fit any bow I would think. It is a spring loaded prong rest. I have had it for five years but I was talk into a drop rest by a friend of mine. In fact I just shot it today on my lunch hour. It is a nice rest but I am not sure if it was worth the money. But oh well to late now. I will take a pic and try to send it via email tomorrow. Don't worry about the shipping. Just get me your address if it looks like it will work and I will send it out.

Sorry I haven't been posting as regularly as I'd like. Things have just been too hectic for the past month.

I've been practicing every other day and getting my gear in order for the season. At this rate it's sneaking up quick. Less than 40 days till the opener. :)

Glad to see all the ck ins.:) You all seem like a good bunch to team up with. While I do frequent the forums i spend most of my time in the chat room with a bunch of good people. I think we have a team that hunts in some real good buck areas.

I let Rob know about BlackLab and told him to send us a RINGER. He says we get the next person to sign up as an alternate. Nice to see the rest of our team is all accounted for. I can't wait to shoot something besides foam!!!
