Well, my last post didn't end up where I meant it to be. Is there anybody else still hunting on our team? When does your seasons end? Mine is over on the 15th. Saw a nice buck tonight but dind't offer a shot.

Well that is it for me. My season ended the 7th(Sunday). I had started to see more deer moving around this last weekend and could have taken a couple of 8's and 3 6's but none were all that great. Was really hoping for a shot at the 9 point I had been seeing. Now I just have to wait for the spring turkey season. I am going to attempt a fall repeat and take another with the bow. Until then I will try and down some coyotes with the rifle and sit on the frozen waters staring down a hole hoping for a fish to bite. It was great talking and sharing with you guys. Keep in touch and I will see you around the boards.

Well my season ended with an ice storm and it was too dangerous to get in the woods this weekend.

Guys, I am sorry I have not checked in since early Jan. Our boy was born Jan. 5th and my life has been hectic ever since. Having a newborn and also a 3yr old as well as a wife on maternity leave is just driving me crazy.

I did manage to go out on 4 hunts during out extended season but I had no luck. In fact I didn't even see a single deer until the 4th hunt and the deer that I did see were well out of my range.

Anyway, I just wanted to stop by and congratulate everyone. Even though we may not have all filled our tags we did have time to get out there and enjoy ourselves. I look forward to next season and maybe with some luck some of us will be on the same team again.
