RE: 10- Team "10 POINT" Offical Thread
Well I went out tonight and it was a pretty good night in all. I saw 1 small buck, maybe a fork or a 6. I saw 6 does also. 4 of them were real jumpy. The wind was perfect for the stand I was in but they sensed something. Shortly after they left I thought I saw a smaller animal going down the same trail. I am pretty sure it wasn't a coyote. It could have been a coon too. I think it may have spooked them out. I am going to try to stay out of the woods this weekend. I will be out again monday

Looks like I'm going to miss opening morning here in PA. Found out today that my company needs me to go out of state for that weekend. So now it's looking like Monday, Oct. 2nd will be my first day out. Oh well, can't really complain. Have to earn a paycheck so I can buy more hunting gear. ;)

Once again congrats. Way to draw first blood for team 10 point. That is a really nice doe. Good size. Did she come in by herself?

RE: 10- Team "10 POINT" Offical Thread
No doubt. I hear that if you take a doe witha button buck, that BB will most often stick to that area. The reason I asked is that there have been a lot of 1 1/2 year old bucks hanging out with does rather then buck groups. I have notice that in both the areas I hunt and thought it was a little odd. What do you have in your plots? Do you use a blend? Do you find anything that works better or that they prefer. Last year I had rape and clover and this year I added canola. They really seem to like that.
