Well guys. No bow buck this year. I even extended my season by hunting in another county up until this past Saturday.
I let several walk this year and had my chances but nothing I wanted to take and just didn't want to take one I would possibly regret just to get us points.
I hope everyone's season went well.

Well my season is officially done. Saw 7 deer in Wi yesterday none offered a shot. The farmer told me nobody got a buck this gun season so the gigantic 8-point should still be there next year. Saw the forky twins and they are well. Quite possibly large enough next year. I gotta get a game camera for this place!

I'll be going the final weekend. Our season ends next Monday. I don't think we have enough to go after first but it's been a fun season and it was nice to meet everyone of you.

This weekend is my last hunt. I'm going back to |Bama for a last chance hunt, my brother has been very successful on the morning hunts, and I plan to cash in on his scouting efforts! He's my guide!

Hey fellas....I'm sorry to say I wasn't able to let the air out of one with the bow this year...or the gun for that matter. Jan 7th marked the end of bow season here in WI, and I had one scouted out for the final day. I sat all day, and he finally showed up at 1:26 in the afternoon. He was following 5 doe and a smaller buck....not real small about upper 120's, but he just hung up on me. He wouldn't come any closer than 60 yards even though the rest of the deer went right under my tree. I swear the big boys have that 6th sense about them because he hung up for no reason....I saw them coming a long way off and the wind was well in favor....he just..."KNEW!" I DID manage to get a couple of shots off at him though....at with the camera...enjoy the pics.
