I had a nice one at about 70 yds yesterday morning...Tried calling to him but he would just look my way. Never closed the distance. It was a nice 120 8 pt. My friend shot one the same morning so it wasn't a total loss.

I went dove hunting after Thanksgiving dinner on Thursday, had a great shoot! Hope you all have a great week, I'm going to N.C. in three weeks for a hunt at the Occoneechee Lodge.There is a great opportunity for a good buck there. It's a huge cotton farm on the roanoke river. I can't wait! Talk to y'all later!

i think its time for us to start nocking down some deer. i will be looking hard for one this weekend i have past on many of bucks this year being to picky, maybe i should have not been on some of them. thats the way it goes though.

Yeah ,it's down to the wire now. My local stands have gone cold with all the snow and cold but the thaw has brought them back to the backyards and suburban birdfeeders. The activity seems to be after dark. I've got a six-point min. and will not shoot the forky thats been around earlier. Saw him the other dai abouta 1/4 mile from where my stand is. This is all suburbs of Chi. mind you. I'm saving him for next year. Going up to wisconsin just before Christmas for 2 days may be the last two. Might take a fork there if I get desperate(I still have room in the freezer) but I'd prefer to get a doe for that. I'll make that call if I need to! Good luck to all.

yah we had a good past weekend within two hours we had killed 4 deer, 1 buck 3 does. for our late season gun hunt. although i havea few day's comeing up here soon to do some bow hunting. cant wait to take a monster!

I saw alot of deer in North Carolina, I passed a good 8-point, he wasn't as big as my last deer. I got a few does. Next hunt isn't until the end of January in Alabama. Good luck guys!

I haven't posted in awhile, been real busy with the end of the semester at school. I've been hunting some but not as much as I'd like. Seen a few nice bucks late Nov. but couldn't get them to come in for a shot. I'll be hunting as much as I can over winter break. Our season ends jan. 15. I'll try my damndest to get some points for the team.
