Way to go!!!! At least you got a deer down! Sounds like a good one from the dimensions thus far. Hard to believe you rattled on in this late, well done. Get the pics up!!

Way to go. Looks like he was a fighter. No wonder he came in when you rattled. Congrats on him.

Real good deer. Appears that he had quite the temper! Sure is strange to be hunting without snow this late!

I agree about the snow. Best thing about that though is that the deer should come out of this winter in GREAT shape which could mean BIG antlers next fall. I keep an eye on the winter severity index in my area and so far it is ZERO. Hard to believe that I am looking forward to next season already.

hell im in Louisiana. the coldest its been here is 30 something and that was for like 2 days. I was wearing jeans and a long sleave camo shirt when I killed him. Things are just picking up here. The does just started goin in heat around here. I will be bringing the bow with me the rest of the season so hopefully I can get a nice one.

How late does your season go down there? Sounds like prime time for you and I'm thinking next year already.
