I would love to start shooting but they aren't moving until dark, few more days and they should be moving daylight hours

Almost had the first doe of the yr down , tonight i was hunting on my buddies farm by where i attend college. At about 630 i saw a huge doe coming my way , she came down to about 40 yards and stopped , instead of coming right down teh hill she cut to my right , so i got into position for the shot. The next thing u know behind where she came from i see what looked like the michelin man coming through the woods. You guessed it a huge piebald doe!!!! this was the first time i ever saw a white deer in that was alive in my life. it was cool , the whole thing was white except for its head , which was chocolate brown. nehow she came down to about 35-40 yards and offered a perfect broadside shot , when i released she jumped the string i think , she was a little nervous due to a combine harvesting soy in the field above my stand. she trotted 10 yards and stopped , and just kept walking so i dont think she is too spooked , she sure would be a great trophy. maybe she will be back!
