Honestly I'm wondering this myself. I'll have to ask. I'm assuming that video page is still being worked on and for that I apologize. I'm kinda looking forward to it. Good question fun2hunt.

Team captains, How did everyone interpret rule number 7?
Its pretty straight forward, I don't think there is any way to interpret it other than how its written.

The hunter, the buck (entire animal), and the bow must be included in the picture.

No worries.

You must be wondering because of the question asked in the other thread?

I think if he is lucky enough to tag a buck with his bow it should be allowed to be entered. The rules don't mention anything about shooting one with a firearm and then entering your first bow killed buck.

Call it a loophole this year.

A gun buck is a gun buck and a bow buck is a bow buck. I'm not a gay gunner but they should still be able to enter their bucks.

9. You must enter the first bow kill antlered deer you get.....second buck for you lucky states will not count. First buck means first taken regardless of multi state hunts.

I am not a captain but this rule should be a no brainer. What difference doe it make whether you shoot a buck with rifle, ,muzzleloader or pistol?? It has nothing to do with this contest unless you try to pass it off as a bow kill and enter it. If caught I hoped they would be thrown out of the contestand banned from HuntingNet!! Which did happen last year.

Please don't turn this into a elitist " if you don't only shoot a bow you are not good enough " contest. We see enough of those worthlesspissing matches on the main forum. This is a fun contest... keep it that way!!

I read it as "first bow kill antlered deer" I don't see any part of that as subject to interperetation. I don't see it as a loophole either. We all know states vary and some hunters hunt mulitple states and I agree with the "first" part. But is says first bow kill not first kill. Besides that, how could it be policed? the guys with gun kill next to their name seem to be guys who enetred the gun contest. I know that there are more who have harvested a gun buck that arent shut out simply because it wasnt posted on huntingnet.

Sounds pretty easy to understand to me. The first bow kill with antlers.
