Troy - The plan sounds great - that's definitely a huge plus when your season comes in so early, it seems like they're a little more predictable early-on. What time does this buck usually get up?

What are the deer feeding on out there this time of year? I'm guessing just a lot of goldenrod, clover, wildflowers and wild grass?

Most of the bucks around here are still in velvet - is that the case where the rest of you guys are located? They'll mostly all be shed within the next week or so, but the vast majority around here are still wearing the fuzz.

Quick,

The bucks around here have all but disappeared. I was seeing at least 4 a night, sometimes 10 or more. I haven't seen any bucks since early last week, but I am seeing tons of does and fawns. I'm going to go check my game camera tonight, hopefully that will have some bone on it.

ok hold on now. This has to be breaking some sort of international treaties by using powers of moderator to harass and otherwise attempt to distract the world champion bowhunting team.

I am pulling for ya man, sounds like you got that thing pegged pretty good. We all know things can go wrong and deer do weird things for no reason, but, I'm thinking that bucks days(hours by this time) are numbered. Good luck
