I took my friend out hunting yesterday, He shot at a 6 point and missed it clean lol... I swear there were deer within 5 feet of me, and I was on the ground! he said "oh my god!" when he saw em lol... I could have caught tha little one

Rifle opens Saturday here. Got some dandies running around. I got pics of 10 different bucks tonite out scouting. 3 of 'em are in the high 140s-150s with one being 160+. I had a 180" deer scouted out, buddy killed him a few days ago with bow tho [:@]

The rut is in full swing, deer running like mad all day long. I think I'll be able to contribute a nice buck to the team. I ain't shooting unless its 150 or bigger

I'll be using my Tikka T3 243, 95gr CT Ballistic Tips if I'm walking, with a Leupold VXII 4-12x40. And if I'm stand hunting or its windy I'll be using my Browning A-Bolt Composite Stalker 7mm Rem Mag, 140gr Nosler AccuBonds, with a Leupold VXII 3-9x40.
