Anyone have any ideas why when I try to change my sig I get an error that says my username and email are already in use? I've tried contacting our wonderful tech support [:'(]in vain but never got a response. I work in IT so doing this should be a snap, but there's got to be some sort of glitch in my account.

DoughBoy,

Hey Goose-Are you anywhere near Camden, Alabama? I am going there is December or January to hunt with some friends. I am hunting with my m/l, so it won't count here, but I am really excited about hunting there.
No, I now live on the other side of the state, Auburn, AL. But my larger lease is very close to Camden. It is just east of "Pineapple, AL", (the hometown of Eddie Salter). I hunt there about half the season. If you can try to makeyour trip in January. Our rut is very late. Sometimes even in the first of Feb. andthe first or second week of Jan is really good hunting in that area. The middle two weeks of December are usually slow down here. I equate it to the northern "October Lull"we have a "December Lull". Are you hunting with an outfitter there? I have a few buddies over there who are outfitters. I used to live in Selma, and that's just down the road. We call that area the "Blackbelt" because the soil is much better there than anywhere else in the state. Look forward to getting to know ya,what kind of MuzzleLoader do you have?

Goose-
I tried to send you a pm, but it says it is full. I do not want to take up space on our team thread. Send me a pm, and we can talk about the Alabama trip then.
I still can not get the logo in my signature. I may have to get our IT guy here at work to help me. I am SO computer ignorant!!![8D][8D]

That's a pretty neat logo you had there!
No hard feelings whatsoever:(, what say you come up with a proposal and let the members vote?
I'll touch mine up a bit and we'll see which one wins.
I personally don't care for the blood and whatnot, but that's just me and it obviously doesn't "bother" me:) so fire away! Heck there's nearly a month before the season starts for any of us anyhow... We have the time!
So show us what y'all got?!?!?! I'm excited to see some new ideas! You guys that can do the graphic stuff are too cool! I just can't get it! But, I'm looking forward to seeing your ideas!

Hey team, I'm just posting to keep Pass thru 22 on top where it belongs. I'm so ready for our season to start Oct. 1st.

I can't believe all the good bucks I'm seeing this year. I hope I can get one before gun season. They have gun season here inMN right during the peak of the rut In early Nov. And this year it sounds like their will be more gunhunters on the land I hunt. The last few years theres only been one ortwo. I loved that! Oh well I got my P&Y after the firstgun season last year. I can always do it again!

Lets get to know each other a little better.

Myname is Jamie, I'm 30 years old and this will be my 18th bow season. My biggest buck was last fall and had a gross P&Y score of 130". Alsolast fall I shot a Moose in northern MN. I don't have a count on the deer I've taken with a bow but every one of them was and exciting experience.

I own my own business (Collision Repair Shop)witch gives me some flexibility when it comes to hunting season. I spend allot of time on stand. And scouting

How about you guys

We've had a record amount of rain here in the south, I expect to have ample mast and the natural forage is doing well also. I am planting food plots, but just because I like to have them. I really don't think they will be where the action is this fall. I'm gonna huntin the oaks and the creekways! Has pretty much everyone had record rainfall this summer?? I really haven't noticed the other states.

How's the new logo comin' guys??

Just got a heads up on possible access to a private resort so I am keeping my fingers crossed. It looks like I may have access to a few areas this year with potential for a nice buck........we will see. Just put some Blazers on my arrows for the first time and I am drilling my broadheads out to 40 yards so my rig is good to go.........6 weeks of practice left [:@]...........then the fun begins :D

I here ya atlas, 6 weeks and let the games begin. I think this logo will be hard to beat, it's simple but effective I like it. My name is Chris and I am a Bowaholic. I've been bowhunting for 12 years. I,m a subcontractor and when It's not bow season I race trucks. I was out scouting today and things are looking pretty good. You know we have some monsters here in Kansas and I know there will be a couple of bigs ones where I hunt. As you know there are no guarantees but in years past I have done pretty well. Good luck to all of our team.

Good news fellas.............just talked to my wife on the phone and she said her mothers friend who used to be their neighbor for many years but now lives in a rural area, has no problem with me hunting her property. She has never let anyone hunt there.........I do not know the neighbors situations yet. I am pretty excited to go check it out. Her statement to my wife was "Oh sure honey........there are deer in my yard every night" She has 15 acres of woods and some open areas with a 1 acre pond. I am gonna have to do some crash course scouting in these last few weeks but hopefully it will be worth it.

2 more spots to sew up the details on in the next few days and I should have some pretty good options this year. So far so good............I will feel better about it when I get to go look around myself...........I have heard the old "There are deer EVERYWHERE!!!!!!!" speech before

I am getting tired of shooting at a target...........I need to get up a tree soon or I am gonna go nuts!!

Trembow 08-21-2005 10:43 PM

RE: Official Team 22 Thread

I've got two very dead 3d targets in my backyard! ;) I actually put an arrow through one and it stuck into the tree behind it. It took me a good minute or so to figure out why it wouldn't pull out of the target[:o]

I've been toying with a few different logo designs and they didn't come out like I wanted (equipment superior to operator!)

Trembow 08-22-2005 07:30 AM

RE: Official Team 22 Thread

I've gone back to my original logo design and started tweaking it, what do you think?

That buck supposedly has 22 points, but I couldn't find them all...[&o]

I like both logos!!! I think if our names were placed on the green logo that would be the best....but I am not picky!!
My name is Mike and I am a bowhuntin' fool!!! I am going to be 38 on 8/30, and I have been hunting 13 years!! My wife and I have 2 children (9 and 3 years old). I am a senior loan officer with a local bank in Cincinnati, Ohio. I have a very flexible schedule at work, so come 10/1, I go AWOL!![&:][&:]

I know...I know....our names are already on the green logo......I meant the red logo!!!![8D][8D]

Goose 11 08-22-2005 09:27 AM

RE: Official Team 22 Thread

I agree with Mike. Red, with names is good. The deer is too hidden behind the name. Wher's the other guy and his idea? Y'all go see team 2's thread, they can't come up with a name, but the ones they have come up with are pretty funny!

Do we need to appoint a team Capitan?

Fixed the spelling mistake for Atlasman.

Some info about the logo. The background is a section of an aerial photo of where I hunt. The pickup truck full of bucks is from Buffalo County Wisconsin. Taken after a very successful season.I thought it could represent our projectedluck this season.

And the broadhead mark represents a passthrough shot.

I think you did a really nice job with the logo, but, and this is definitely NOT sour grapes[&o], to be honest I don't care for the truck full of deer.

Much of my reasoning would be found in the photo guidelines someone posted back in the main forum not too long ago (I'll see if I can link to it somehow), but mostly images like that seem to cheapen the spirit of what we do, even to my own eyes.

I also happen to think you can do better! ;)

We should decide on a logo and a team captain............the seasons are fast approaching so we should get our ducks in a row;)

If you want me to be captain I will gladly do it.........if anyone else really wanted to do it that is also fine.

I personally like the logo and don't care about the downed bucks pic..........I do however respect anyone who doesn't want it and think we should have a logo everyone will display proudly.

Let's decide so we can focus on the scoreboard :)
