Well guys , just got back from a scouting trip. Things look better than I thought. We lost some trees, but I saw fourty deer, of those four bucks and I did not even go into the buck territory. There are still some acorns on the trees and even some persimmons. Good Luck to everybody.

Well I must say it's looking better for me!!! I went out scouting a spot I found at he end of bow season last year and had a doe under my stand for 15 minutes! After dark I drove around shining some fields and on my way out I drove past the field where I was earlier and there was a monster buck! Huge, I pulled over got out and put the light and Binos on him and was in awe! My buddy took a 20 pointer 2 years ago in this area and the deer I seen tonight dwarfed him by far! I'm stoked!! He was in a private field thats connected to state land about 75 yards from my stand!

I am really liking the upbeat attitude that everyone has....and also eager to hear what mic ended up "settling for"
this past week. I am itchin' to see somebody post something on the official score card.

Going down to Southern IL this weekend to hang some stands with dukemichaels of Team "We're Not Really That Good" 4. I'll try to snap some photos of the spot where I'm gonna lay down a big one for Team 10.

Well saturday I am going out to my spot again and hopefully see the big guys again. I left them alone all week to let things settle down a little. Hopefully luck will be on my side this weekend and I will get one. When does everyone else's seasons open?

October 1 for us. Three weeks from tomorrow.
Good look this weekend Mic - get some points for our team! We need to jump out in the lead and never look back.
