Nah, just been out of the office a lot lately. They're actually forcing me to work!

Just over a month now until our season starts, then I'll let my arrows do the talking for me.

Still 18 days till the season and I can't get any work done. I'm going to get fired. I can't decide where to hunt for the opener. The lease where I've seen some nice bucks this summer or my farm where I haven't seen many bucks, but the does are thick in my food plots. Normally I would hit the lease to try to catch a buck still in his summer pattern, but my GF is bowhunting for the first time this year and I want to put her on a doe right away. What would you guys do?

Well guys I just got my electricity turned on. It has been tough for a few days. We lost a lot of trees and I think my chainsaw is almost as tired as I am. I do not live on the coast where it is much worse, but this storm caused damage almost all over the state. There are still people all over the state without electricity. The big thing now is finding gas, and when you do it can be anywhere from an hour to 3 hours to wait in line. But things are looking up. Our dove season opens tomorrow but no gas to go so I will just practice shooting my bow and helping my neighbors out. Thanks for the thoughts.

25 days until the opener!

Season opened on Friday. I was out all weekend. I have 2 150 class bucks I am waiting on. I could have shot a lot of smaller bucks. I am gonna give my spot a rest until this weekend now. I have a few other places to try though until then. Hopefully I will tag out this week sometime.
