well if you still have access to your deer you can use the nifty little score sheet that is provided by HNI found here http://www.whitetaildeer.com/howto/score/score.asp

All you have to do is follow the chart at the top that tells what part of the antler is what, and then punch it into the corresponding spot on the chart...once you get all that apply to your deer hit the calculate button at the bottom

All you will need is a very flexible tape measure...and maybe an extra set of hands

Hope that helped!

I dont know if the score you reported is too far off though...I did a "visual estimate" using the picture as a guide...and then put what I thought the lengths/circumfrences were into that score sheet and came out with an Underestimated score of 103.5

I know that means nothing but it is a rough estimate...

Hey, first thing I thought of is how the heck did he only score 114. I'm sure if you get him scored professionally hni would be glad to take that score. right?

Sweet! That's a really hard buck to guess on, but man he is tall! Plus, he's, what? 18 inside? That's a good combination! Great buck.

Thats great about the updated score! Glad it was caught now instead of at the end of the contest (like the end of last year)...

Should be going out this afternoon if my buddy gets off work in time!
