Wow, great deer! I too would fall out of my stand if something like that was headed my way. I'm shaking just thinking about it. I have had a couple more chances, one was a spike and the other was the same fork I passed up on opening day. If I don't see a good buck in the next few weeks, well forkhorn 3rd strike and you are out.

Great buck dabow!! Congrats on one true trophy!! If I ever even see a buck like that I think I would shat myself!!!
With the rut warming up here in Va and W.va, I hope to see some deer on the move. I still have yet to score any venison.

Best hunting is yet to come for you all. And here I sit with only doe tags and most of november off. I gotta get a game plan going. Too bad I didn't try for an Illinois tag. I am thinking Minnesota or Missouri...........Dabow

ya, too bad you didnt dabow, I would of put you on one of many stand on 100 acres. Man that is a HUGE buck you stuck. Nice work.
the weekend wasnt what I hoped for but I did manage to shoot a doe. I am leaving for work today and will be on the road all week so no hunting until Sunday.....[&o]Good luck to everyone else though. I will be checking in from the road.
