I got out for one last hunt yesterday morningbefore the firearms hunters start to share the woods with the archers. Watched a pair of nice bucks - a 5x5 that was out past his ears and swept well over his nose, and a 4x4 which was really a gnarly mess on one side. They were just out of striking distance with the bow; the closest I ranged them was 342 yards. Nice to see, though.

I am off tomorrow for the back country of Idaho and Montana for 16 days. Hope you all score well, I will be looking for the big bucks and seeing what I can get within bow range. Good luck to everyone, details and photos when I get back.

goin home for the weekend from college here , i am gonna do some spotting , shooting , and just skim thru some stand sites , see how things are , try not to disturb much , ill wear the scent control and the whole 9 just to be extra safe.
