Well if I shot into a 10in circle the gun would do just as good as yours. I shot at a small target in the kill zone, not a concentrated circle. 220 in a 9in plate at 25 yards to be exact. So your gun shoots no better than mine. Lets compare kills. I think I get the job done. As for just being happy with hitting the paper, I dont think so. When I draw down on a bird its his worst nightmare. I shoot to kill that bird not wound it. Im an ethical hunter. To put me into a group thats happy to just hit the target I dont think so. Thats not ethical.

Myself and the wife were on lunch break today and went to eat luch at one of my hunting spots. 3 miles from where I work. We heard a lone gobbler at 12:30 this afternoon. First one Ive heard other than my own turkeys. I'll be scouting more and I will start roosting birds before the weekend gets here.. I cant wait to turkey hunt...

I went out Monday to scout...nothing. i set up my trail cam...Not working so I replaced it today with a Moultrie IR from Gander. I got to the farm and as I crested a hill to the pasture I hunt I see turkey.1,2,3,4,5,6,7 male birds. None strutting, but just walking around. 2 have big beards and 3 are jakes. The other 2 were nice 2 yrs olds. Last year I hunted this land and wasn't clear if I could hunt the pasture They were in..I now know I can...Man they looked good. 7 in that field. whoooo can't wait and it made my day!

I can't get it to upload. Goin to the properties of fire's photo, copying the address, and putting it in upload my avatar and it won't do anything. Says may take several minutes but I've waited a half an hour. What did I do wrong? Do I have to put that in my photobucket?

Save the picture right to your desktop and then upload it to your profile. It should work that way.

I got the camera out yesterday and hope to have some big Hoosier toms on the cam next week. I am hearing reports of gobbles and strutting, but I haven't heard or seen them doing that...just birds. I saw 2 hens yesterday at near the farm I hunt and deer galore 4 in the pasture I will be hunting hard.

I just checked the extended forecast and for next Sunday,when I'm going out, and it is going to be low of 34, high of 58 and partly sunny. No wind report yet. If it stays like that it'll be a perfect day!!

I saw some strutters tonight. Its just too bad I didnt see them on the property Im hunting. But tonight we saw 34 turkeys all together. I did see a group of Jakes about 1/4 mile from one of the propertys. I posted it in the smack talk thread. Mottz it sounds like it gonna be good for you...:)

Well, they already changed the forecast. From upper 50's this weekend to mid 40's with a chance of rain/snow mix. How can meteorologists be wrong so much of the time and not get fired? Guess I'll wait til the end of the week to check it again. It'll probably change.
